Professional Experience
I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu in 2017 and began working as a physician in the Estonian Defence Forces. While working in the Defence Forces, I developed an interest in working with mental health issues, which led me to start my residency in psychiatry in 2021. I completed my residency in psychiatry in 2026. During my residency, I worked in the psychiatric clinics of North Estonia Medical Centre, Tallinn Children’s Hospital, and Pärnu Hospital, as well as at Marienthal Clinic, including on-call duties.
I have also been involved in teaching, delivering lectures both to psychiatrists and to colleagues from other specialties. In addition, I have conducted courses on self-compassion and mindfulness.
I am a former board member of the Estonian Medical Association and the Estonian Junior Doctors’ Association. I am a member of the Estonian Psychiatric Association and have been secretary and board member of the association’s section of young psychiatrists.
