Mats Külm

Clinical psychologist

In my work, I value a therapeutic relationship that is accepting, open, sincere, and constructive, based on the individual’s needs. During sessions, we strive to interpret, understand, and reflect on the psychological inner world in which a person lives, aiming to uncover the factors that prevent them from living life as they truly wish or feel inside. My primary interest lies in the psychoanalytic perspective, both in therapy and research contexts.

I am licensed to conduct psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

Work experience

I completed bachelor’s studies in psychology (cum laude) at Tallinn University and master’s studies in clinical psychology at Tartu University. In 2021-2022, I worked as a psychologist in the compulsory treatment department of SA Viljandi Hospital. In 2023-2024 I completed the professional year of clinical psychology at SA PERH Psychiatry Clinic and worked in the ambulatory unit of the SA PERH Psychiatric Clinic. I have been working as a clinical psychologist in Minu Kliinik since January 2025.
