Mari Munk-Uusväli

Clinical psychologist

I have experience primarily in the fields of mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and substance use disorders. In addition, I am interested in the treatment of individuals with borderline personality disorder. In my work, I consider it important to approach each person according to their individual needs, based on their personal goals and resources. I also value creating a safe and trustworthy environment where a person has the space to be themselves and share their experiences without judgment.

I work with both adults and adolescents.

Work Experience

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from Tallinn University. Since 2018, I have been working at a psychiatric clinic with both adults and adolescents. Since 2020, I have been a certified clinical psychologist. In addition, I am a member of the North Estonia Medical Centre crisis team, which provides psychological first aid in various crisis situations.

I am a member of the Estonian Association of Clinical Psychologists, the Estonian Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy, a supporting member of the Estonian Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Association, and a candidate member of the Estonian Psychoanalytical Society.
