Work experience
I finished the psychiatry residency in 2019. From 2019 to 2021, I worked in the first episode psychosis department of the SA PERH Psychiatry Clinic. Since 2021, I have been working in the Department of Compulsive Psychiatric Treatment of the SA Viljandi Hospital Psychiatric Clinic. Additionally, I have regularly worked as an on-call psychiatrist in emergency psychiatry departments. In 2022, I took parental leave, though I have been working with a small workload as a psychiatrist-consultant in AS Elora Keila Hospital nursing care department.
I have been actively engaged in training. I have taught future mental health nurses at Tallinn Health Care College, trained colleagues in the recognition of mental disorders, treatment and communication with patients both in Viljandi Hospital and Elora Keila Hospital, and participated s a lecturer in the alcohol use disorder training at the Health Development Institute. In 2018 – 2020, I was a lecturer in psychopathology at the Holistic Institute. In addition, I have given presentations at professional conferences and seminars in Estonia.
I belong to the Estonian Society of Psychiatrists and I have been a member of the young psychiatrists section board. I am a member of the SA Council for Therapy Development and Innovation with Psychedelics (SA TAIP).
