Ann-Marii Vilk

Clinical psychologist (currently not accepting clients)

As a psychologist I support discussing issues around mood, anxiety, relationships, crises and trauma. I also have experience in assessing neurodevelopmental characteristics (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADHD and autism) and supporting coping. When working with young people, I consider the role and involvement of family and loved ones to be important.

I work individually with adolescents aged 12+ and with adults.

Work experience

I completed a master’s degree in psychology (cum laude) at the University of Tartu in 2022. I have gained versatile work experience in hospitals, schools and private practices. In 2023-2024 I completed the clinical psychology professional year at SA PERH Psychiatric Clinic and SA Tallinn Children’s Hospital. During this period I gained valuable experience in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric disorders in young children, adolescents and adults. Currently I also work in the integrative treatment of primary psychoses at the SA PERH Psychiatry Clinic and as a junior lecturer at the University of Tartu, teaching undergraduate students the basics of counselling and communication psychology.
